1. Introduction

Welcome to Pavis. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. If you have any questions or concerns about our policy, or our practices with regards to your personal information, please contact us.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when registering at Pavis, expressing an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, when participating in activities on the site or otherwise contacting us.

The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the site, the choices you make and the products and features you use.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information collected via our site for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests, in order to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations.

4. Audio Recording and Processing

Pavis provides real-time conversation intelligence. When you use the recording features of our service:

  • Audio is captured and processed in real-time to provide analysis and transcripts.
  • Recordings are stored securely to allow you to review them later in the studio.
  • AI Training: We do not use your private conversations or any Google user data to train public AI models without your explicit permission. We strictly comply with Google's API Services User Data Policy regarding AI/ML model training.

5. Sharing Your Information

We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations.

6. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

7. Your Privacy Rights

In some regions, such as the European Economic Area, you have rights that allow you greater access to and control over your personal information. You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time.

8. Updates to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.

9. Contact Us

If you have questions or comments about this policy, you may email us at support@pavis.app.

10. Google User Data

Pavis requests access to your Google Calendar in read-only mode (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly) to provide automated meeting preparation features.

Data We Access

When you connect your Google Calendar, we access the following information from your primary calendar:

  • Event titles and descriptions
  • Event start and end times
  • Event locations and meeting links (e.g., Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
  • Attendee counts

How We Use Your Data

We use this data specifically to identify upcoming video conferences and professional meetings. This enables us to:

  • Send you automated "Prep Emails" before your calls begin.
  • Display countdowns and reminders for your next meeting in your dashboard.
  • Improve your workflow by ensuring Pavis is ready to assist when your meeting starts.

Data Storage and Sharing

We do not store your full calendar history. We only store unique event identifiers temporarily to track which reminders have already been sent to avoid duplicate notifications. We do not share your Google user data with any third-party services, and we never use your Google user data to train AI models.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
